    The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
    
    * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of 
      Northern Kansas
      Extreme south-central Nebraska
    
    * Effective this Thursday morning from 120 AM until 1000 AM CDT.
    
    * Primary threats include...
      Isolated very large hail events to 3 inches in diameter possible
      Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
    
    SUMMARY...Two areas of thunderstorms are expected to offer a threat
    for severe hail and isolated damaging wind through midmorning:
    1.  Ongoing severe convection over the Kansas/Nebraska border,
    expected to spread east-southeastward the next few hours;
    2.  An area of storms over northeastern Colorado that may intensify
    as it moves into a more moist/unstable air mass in northwestern
    Kansas and proceed eastward from there.
    
    The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60
    statute miles north and south of a line from 25 miles southwest of
    Goodland KS to 25 miles east of Manhattan KS. For a complete

    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
    
    REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
    favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
    Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
    weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
    warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
    tornadoes.

    3 inches. Extreme turbulence and surface wind gusts to 60 knots. A
    few cumulonimbi with maximum tops to 550. Mean storm motion vector
